Modeling a Photo
This award signifies the entrant has completed the Modeling a Photo Campaign.

Operational Overview
This campaign is intended, not only as an initiative to use a historical photo, but to get people involved in the historical background of the model you are building. Building out of the box is fun as always, but let's take it one step further. Not only by building the model out of the box, but trying to 'recreate' a part of history. Most everyone, including myself, may/will use a reference source, but how often do we really get into trying to create what is really shown and what that photo really depicts?

The Rules and Regs
First and foremost, have fun with it, but on the same token, see if you can go beyond your recent limits of modeling. The idea of this campaign is to model a particular photograph of a 'real' piece of equipment or person. This is not limited to WWII; it can be anywhere from WWI to Present day. The project does not have to include the 'entire' picture. If it has a building in the background, it's not necessary to model the building, unless it interacts with the subject you are modeling. Examples: a Panther crashed into a building, at least have the wall and rubble present. If the real tank has a bent/missing fender etc.., so should the model. If it shows the crew, so should the model. ("a crew", no need to resculpt the figure head unless you desire)

Last but not least, and yes, this is a requirement, what is the photo about? Include a small brief description of your model/photo to give everyone some background. In progress photos, no need to post every step of the way, but an occasional update is required. Do not simply post a completed model and say you are done.

Contest Element
Each person who completes the project in the given time frame will receive the ribbon award designed for this campaign. The model must be completed in order to receive the award.
