Resin wheel manufacturer Bitskrieg had already branched out from straight resin wheels + tires sets to include burned-out rims for the Sd.Kfz. 251 and 250. Now it's releasing a steel rim for the Opel Blitz.
One of the workhorses of the Wehrmacht's motor pool was the Opel Blitz medium truck. Tamiya, Italeri and most-recently Cyberhobby have provided styrene versions, usually with fairly ordinary two-piece plastic tires that look rather bland. BitsKrieg is working to upgrade the options for the Blitz with first these resin wheel rims -

As well as promises for full-blown resin replacement wheels in the near future. The rim allows modelers to build burned-out versions, or show repair scenarios. Other products hinted at by Bitskrieg include -
