Hi Guys many thanks for your kind feedback. All kits are available in company online shop, and also Scott will be stocking and selling them in US very soon. This is very first vehicle of many - in near future there will be most of the GM production "kitted" by LZ. There will be all 3 CABs available, and most of the common bodies seen in service. Both Ford and Chevrolet will be produced, and with next releases there will be also "vehicle builder" available in our shop - everyone can then use it to build up his model required - to choose cab, body, possibly more options to get exactly the vehicle wanted in the box F15 was of course also produced with open cab, and it appeared to be a good option for first release. Italian variant with 20mm Breda gun is coming in a couple of weeks, and also full Cab 11 variant. Then there will be German version of the truck with Flak 30, and F15A variant - 4x4. Together with it the Cab 13 should be done. Hope it can help Cheers Libor

I am sorry my friend but I must dispute this statement. Can you provide me with the information that Ford Canada did make this truck in this particular open body form? After almost 30 years of studying CMP type trucks I have never come across this type of open cab unless it was field modified as they never rolled off the production line in this configuration. But I am willing to learn more about this unique type of vehicle. Still a nice model BTW

Hi Cliff many thanks. A few factory pictures are available at DVD that can be purchased here: LINK There are also WIP pictures, are they are listed separately and taken in production building. These are taken at factory yard and I believe they all show finished vehicles. Highly recommended DVD to any CMP enthusiast Cheers Libor

Hi Libor, I have the CD and sorry those vehicles are NOT the finished product. ALL CMP vehicles had roof and windscreen fitted before delivery out of the factory. see this thread LINK on MLU forum where I asked the experts and they agree that while the roof and windscreen were often removed in hot climates all vehicles of this type left the factory as full cabs and not open cabs. Without checking the factory CD I think all those shown without roof and windscreen were getting ready to be boxed up as Partly Knocked Down (PKD) vehicles to save on shipping space. Hope this helps Cheers Cliff PS> I suggest you perhaps join MLU forum as the amount of knowledge amassed by the membership there about CMP vehicles is enormus and they can help you get your models better in all details.

Hi Cliff, it sounds good. I have read through mapleleafup forum earlier, and I am also registered user there, but did not see this thread at all. I also asked a couple of guys involved in these, but they could not say it exactly. hard to know for sure, but nevermind, there is still good use for the kit, and full cab is coming in a few weeks, like I said earlier. Many thanks for your help Cheers Libor
