The latest from CMK is a 1/48 scale update set for a Tiger that will give it the power look detail it needs.
CMK has announced a new update in 1/48 scale, an engine set for the Tamiya 1/48 scale Tiger I. The set will contain the highly detailed engine, as well as all bulkheads and required hatches.

It's a HL210 engine, therefore it's suitable for the early production and Initial Production kits, not the forthcoming Late. Tamiya messed up by putting the legs on the engine hatch, and CMK have copied their mistake. I don't see any parts to make the fan drive or the ducting on the rear wall, which is OK so long as the engine is in the bay to hide them, but an empty bay can't be modelled fully with what I see. I wonder if the bottom of the open engine hatch is represented correctly? David
