For all of those mums and dads out there who are looking for a model kit for their child Revell has released an Abrams that may be just right.
Revell has released one of their Snap Tite kits of the Abrams Tank, and the part that made me look twice is that it is 1/35th scale. The release notes statement tell us that the model as well as being 1/35th scale, requires no glue or paint as it is moulded in in light brown plastic. The kit also features a movable main gun and rotating top turret with Soft, drivable, rotating tank treads. This sounds like an ideal model of a decent sized model, of a popular subject, for getting a youngster interested in the hobby.

There needs to be more of these. I started out on snap together kits too when I was young and they do help. ~ Jeff
