Dan Taylor Modelworks has sent Armorama news of a new figure set in 1/72nd – 1/76th scale of British/Commonwealth soldiers getting cleaned up. I am sure that once you see what is being offered in the braille scales from this company you will wish some of the 1/35th scale figure providers take note.
This set of six figures represents British/Commonwealth soldiers going about their domestic routines. One figure is shaving, another performing a body wash, a third is doing up his flies, a fourth is taking a shower. The fifth and sixth figures are a vignette with one soldier giving the second a haircut. The figures are between 22 and 23.5mm tall and are provided as unpainted resin models. The chap cutting hair needs an arm attached.

This set is based on the photographic collection taken by Major Jimmy Sale, 3rd County of London Yeomanry. He took over 2,000 photographs over the course of the Second World War showing an astonishingly complete record of Army life.

Set No F-76231 ‘Ablutions’ 1/72 – 1/76 scale - £10.50
