CMK has announced two new 1/48 scale detail sets. The first is a driver’s section for the Tamiya Panzer IV and the second is a Maybach HL 120 engine. The Maybach was widely used by the Germans and would be right at home in a Panzer III or IV.

Ummm . . . wouldn't that be quarter-inch scale? It's not really 1:4, which "quarter scale" suggests.

1/48 scale is also refered to as Quarter scale occasionaly "This scale is defined by dividing an imperial foot into 48 equal parts which gives you 1/4". So 1/4" equals one foot."
