Interesting. I got a ICM Henschel 33 D1 for Christmas - when I get round to it in a few months time I was planning on doing a build log or a review.

Swords, how relevent are those? Maybe for a Cossack unit but they would likely have their own.

I'm all for WWI figure sets! Swords still played a prominent role in WWI, especially in the various officer corps. Now all we need are some WWI Russian soldiers to give the weapons to. I will definitely get the Austro-Hungarian soldiers. In the past ICM has offered figures from the Franco-Prussian War and WWI. The quality of the French and Prussian troops was not great but the German and British WWI sets were,IMHO, excellent. I look forward to a review on the figure and weapons kits. Jeff

Swords were very popular with Officer ranks of all Corps wearing them in WW1....remembering that an officer receives his own sword when receiving his Commission as they still do today (Australian Army anyway...).
