Tommy's War has been releasing extremely interesting figures in 1/32 (54mm) scale depicting servicemen from Great Britain and the Empire in the WWI. This time the company ventured into something completely new... vehicles. Check out Tommy's War newest addition to their portfolio: two variants of Thornycroft lorry on the Type J chassis.
TW54E05 - Thornycroft Type J - anti aircraft variant

TW54E06 - Thornycroft Type J - general service variant

The kits are cast in detailed resin in 1/32 scale and the sets include the kit, comprehensive decals, wire and all parts required to build a highly detailed replica of the vehicle which performed a vital role during the First World War.. Of course, the figures to compliment the vehicles are planned, however, it might be some time until there is a full anti-aircraft crew as there were 8 men to man that variant!

A comprehensive 36 page full-colour instruction manual packed full of references, detail and images is also available for download at Tommy's War website.

Both of these are excellent news if you build in 1/32 scale and will I'm sure will be welcome by many. Alas I'm fully embedded in 1/35 scale so will admire rather than buy. Cheers Al
