Airfix have announced their 2015 releases. Two new 1:48 British trucks, plus a couple of oldies in 1:32.
The 1:48 trucks are designed to accompany their range of WW2 aircraft, although they are both adaptable to other roles. The 1:32 items are more back catalogue revivals.

  • A03312 Albion AM463 3-Point Refueller 1:48
  • A03313 Bedford MWD Light Truck 1:48
  • A08360 Crusader MkIII Tank 1:32
  • A06361 17 Pdr Anti-Tank Gun 1:32

The Albion AM463 2 ton truck is presented in its 350 gallon refueller role, though the chassis was also used as an ambulance, crane, tractor, etc. The Bedford 15cwt truck has the standard GS truck body and is presented in RAF use, but again, thousands were produced in various configurations, and used by the British Army as well as the RAF. Both are scheduled for release on 1st January.

In the now little favoured 1:32 scale, the 17 Pdr dates from the late 1970s with the Crusader from 1975. These are slated for release in the summer.
