Mirror Models will release soon a Diamond T972 Dump Truck. It is next on their series of Diamond Trucks after the cargo and wrecker versions.

According to the producer, the kit is full plastic, and features highly detailed suspensions and underchassis, plus accurate interior and engine. Frame parts are newly tooled frame, and advanced slide moulding technology has been used for closed cab parts and dump body parts.The tires are plastic moulded.

The kit contains 460 plastic parts (8 sprues) in grey plastic, 1 sprue of clear plastic parts, scale ropes for assembly and 2 decal options. Considering the high number of parts (for a truck) and previous releases of Mirror models, the chassis and engine seem to be quite detailed. According to photos the cargo bed can be shown raised also.

We are seeing a flow of earth moving equipment kits from several manufacturers (dozers, scrappers) so there are a lot of new possibilities for a scene combining them.
