Takom has sent Armorama an image of the box top artwork for their Chieftain Mk11.
I will admit to some surprise when Takom announced the release of not one, but three versions of the Chieftain. I myself welcome these models and do look forward to their release, and I was pleasantly surprised by just how many modellers share the desire to see these kits.

So technically, the '2 in 1' would mean 4 variants! Even if the external appearance does not change much it's a good excuse for another paint scheme! Overwhelmed, really... :-)

Must admit I'm looking forward to these even more now I've seen the box art. I'd planned to get just the Mk 11, but I'm tempted to try more (assuming the kit is up to scratch, of course). An Iranian option, a Berlin camouflage scheme, and even the Mk 11 presumably has a choice between the BATU Suffield sand/green shown on the box and the more conventional black/green.

Takom just posted the art for the 5 and 10 on their FB page. Looks like the 5 can be a P model as well.

Regarding the Mk5/P box art, is that supposed to represent the Iran/Iraq war? If so, that means that this one can be built into an Iranian tank out of the box? Or is that the Gulf war? Hisham

Yes' I too really like the look for the MK 5.

Nice! Looking forward to getting the MK10 and painting that Berlin Camo scheme

Not knowing the contents of the box, you should be able to do an Iranian P model from the Iran-Iraq War and a Kuwati Mk5 from the Gulf war.

Oh for GAWD'S sake, why WOULDN"T it be up to scratch...??!!! Is it because it might be missing a bolt or two here and there..? Man, some of us have GOT to get back to reality. There will NEVER be a PERFECT model representation of a real world vehicle...PERIOD...! Get used to it folks, it's just a hobby...have fun and go build sumthin, stop bellyaching...;-) thehermit
