Airfix have joined other UK retailers in adopting the US-style bump start to the Christmas shopping spree that is December by announcing a Black Friday sale starting on 27 November and running until Monday 30 at 17:00. Pretty big discounts are offered on some items, up to 77%...
Airfix are getting in on the Black Friday act by offering some big discounts on certain items in their plastic kit line, while stocks last and over this coming weekend until 17:00 on Monday 30 November. Discounts are easily big enough to take care of the delivery charges if you live in the UK or in certain European countries, and delivery can be free on large enough orders. Some highlights of interest to armour modellers:
  • Monty's Humber Snipe Staff Car 1:32: £16.99 reduced to £5.99
  • 'B' Type Omnibus 1:32 £19.99 reduced to £9.99
  • SdKfz250 Rommel's Half Track 1:32 £19.99 reduced to £7.99
  • Supacat Coyote 1:48 £19.99 reduced to £4.99
  • British Forces WMIK Land Rover - Snatch Land Rover 1:48 £19.99 reduced to £4.99
  • BAE Warrior 1:48 £21.99 reduced to £4.99

I used be like that....look at my "call-sign". But if you like modern vehicles try the Jackal or Coyote in 1/48. They really are excellent.
