Continuing with their incredibly disciplined approach to new releases, Formations Models have just announced three new releases for the M4 Sherman.

F078 - M4A3 Intermediate Production "Big Hatch" Upper Hull ($30)



This hull is suitable for the installation of a high bustle 75mm turret with oval loaders hatch (see F045). Either split hatch or vision cupolas are appropriate. The hull is also suitable for the 76mm gun turret. This hull can be used as a replacement for any suitable 1/35th scale Sherman kit .

The replacement hull offers the following features:

Weld detail including front light mounts, lift lug bases, fuel cap guards, turret splashguards (inside and out), cast machine gun port, and all hull joints

Milled fit rings inside front hatch openings, which include head pads

Casting numbers on hull reflect actual Fisher production tank

M.G. cover ring with attachment points

Includes 2 styles of Front Hull Hatches with accurate casting marks
