The Airbrush Company Ltd in the UK have been in touch to let us know about the latest version of the Iwata Smart Jet Pro compressor - now smaller and lighter but with the same peformance.
The main change is a reduction in size and it’s also about a pound lighter, an improvement since it is designed to be a portable compressor with its carry handle. It also features a new style of filter / regulator (the same as the Smart Jet Plus Handle-Tank compressor) and a relocated air outlet.

New model. Size: L25.7cm x W14cm x H 24.1cm (10.1 x 5.5 x 9.4in.) Weight: 5.9kg (13lbs)
Previous model. Size: L31cm x W15.5cm x H26.5cm (12 x 6 x 10.5in.) Weight: 6.4kgs (14lbs)

The updated Smart Jet Pro is the same great compressor with the same power - but more compact size.

Iwata Studio Series compressors are powerful, compact and quiet. With oil-less piston motors, they are low maintenance and affordably priced. The Iwata Studio Series are the perfect companion to any of the Iwata airbrushes.

The Smart Technology automatically turns the compressor on when you press your airbrush trigger, providing instant air at the pressure you have set it, and turns the compressor off again when the airbrush is not in use. The Smart Jet Pro has a metal protective case with integral regulator and pressure gauge.
