ICM has announced a King Tiger in the works featuring the Henschel Turret. So far information is limited on this 1/35th scale offering.
So far ICM has only supplied CAD images of their King Tiger in the making and if it lives up to these images it should be a fair model. An examination of the CAD images only gives me one area of concern and that is the engine deck as ICM does not provide photo etch with their models and so the grills will not look their best. Looking on the positive the relatively low cost of ICM models does mean that photo etched sets to lift these areas can be justified without breaking the bank. In all other respects this offering does look to be well detailed and should be a winner for ICM.

it is not gonna be accurate...

That is a very sweeping statement for a model that has not been seen yet.

It all depends on end buyer: how much or how little he wants to pay, what type of modeler he is (painter/rivet counter/beginner/teenager)etc. After all, there have never been shortage of KT kits on the market. There are versions from three manufacturers on offer and three more in development so, there is plenty to choose from.

I know ICM has produced kits featuring notable accuracy issues in the past [most recently their T34-76], but this CAD looks accurate to the real thing.
