The Sd.Kfz. 9 was a big vehicle, now put on top a 10ton crane and you have something really huge.

The new conversion from Panzer Concepts allows to build this impressive beast at 1/35.

The Sd.Kfz 9/2 was a variant of the famous 18 ton. prime mover, equipped with a Demag gasoline/electric driven crane.

This crane was intended for lifting heavy weights, up to 10 ton., and needed levelling jacks on the vehicle.

Panzer Concepts has researched the vehicle and created a detailed conversion set. There are more than 400 parts in this kit , including a new chassis as the 9/2 had a longer one, the crane with the massive counterweights and all rigging, the controls... everything is there. And the crane can be shown folded or extended.

It is a multimedia kit with cast resin parts, 3D printed ones, metal and thread.

The conversion brings a whole new look to Tamiya Famo kit, with its amazing crane and specific features.
