Lawrence Goh, of Echelon Fine Details has just sent us details of some VERY impressive NEW releases along with a 'sneak-peek' at some equally FUTURE releases...
Beginning with the NEW Releases, these are all 1/35th scale unless indicated to the contrary:

T35011 - USMC LAVs (Operation Iraqi Freedom) & ASLAVs (Operation Catalyst 2003): US$16

3rd LAR (Light Armored Reconnaissance) Battalion LAVs, are featured in this set, with a mix of desert tanned and 3-toned (NATO camouflage) . Markings are included for THREE specific vehicles along with stencils for FOUR builds - TWO USMC LAVs and TWO ASLAVs. The second part of the set is dedicated to Australian ASLAVs serving in Iraq (Operation Catalyst 2003). One belonging to 2nd Cavalry Regiment (with the red Roos), the other belonging to 2nd/14th Light Horse Regiment (Queensland Mounted Infantry).

T35022 - Humvees in OIF & OEF (US$14.50) - A simple title for an incredibly detailed sheet. Markings for SIX complete vehicles out of FOURTEEN options. The set includes stencilling for the humvees / M1114 (black AND green). Markings for Iraqi Army (post 2003 with3-tone camoflage ) and generic tire pressure markings. As a 'bonus' the set includes shipping labels and stickers often seen on Humvees. There are even a few Flammable Liquid stickers for the jerry cans.

D356002 - UNIFIL Leclercs (US$7.50) 250 limited prints. 2 sets for two complete Leclerc builds. "UN" labels and flags can be applied on other french military vehicles also employed in the same theater of operation.

1/72nd Scale

D726002 - UNIFIL Leclercs (US$5.50) 250 limited prints. 2 sets for two complete Leclerc builds. "UN" labels and flags can be applied on other french military vehicles also employed in the same theater of operation.

1/35th Scale Figure Decals

P353002 - US Army Patches, Insignias & Ranks (Part 2) US$12.50

Suitable for 1/35 figures of Operation Enduring Freedom (Afghanistan) and Operation Iraqi Freedom theater of operations, and Vietnam war as well. Featuring US Army patches, insignias and ranks, in subdued and desert colors. Also inclusive is a colorful flag patches sheet. The ranks and random names (different from other sets) are included. This set also comes complete with MP armbands (or brassards) as well as the fine inscriptions in arabic (suitable for OIF/OEF). You can either use just the MP letters on your own self-made brassards or use the decal form and of course, you'll need to crop them to fit. The MP lettering styles in this set differs from the other set(s).

P353003 - US Army Patches, Insignias & Ranks (Part3) US$12.50

Suitable for 1/35 figures of Operation Enduring Freedom (Afghanistan) and Operation Iraqi Freedom theater of operations, and Vietnam war was well. Featuring US Army patches, insignias and ranks, in subdued and desert colors. Also inclusive is a colorful flag patches sheet. The ranks and random names (different from other sets) are included.

Finally, in the NEW Releases is:

D356005 - PT BOAT Generic Hull Numbers (US$9.50)

Much research has been put into this set on the proper stylings of the numbers used by the ELCO 80' boats. Evidently, there were two very obvious styles of numbers ever used by the 80 footers. The all-white, unshadowed version, and the white with black shadows type, both reflected in this set. There were other kinds, but probably the more obscure types.
This set help corrects the kit decal inaccuracies in Italeri's fabulous Elco 80' kit. Not only the positions of the "shadows" in on the decals was inaccurate, the corners of the "shadows" were also wrong.

FINALLY, the FUTURE Releases:

4.PD Panzer IV and II Ls:

Sherman IIs and IIIs in the desert:

Fearsome European Cats

Wow--even more great decals from Echelon. I've got their first set of modern uniform patches, and the quality is excellent. I think, however, that both the LAV/ASLAV and Humvee decal sets had already been announced a while back, unless these are different somehow.

Well, if the new Echelon patches are as good as the old ones, these should be great. They can be difficult to apply because of their size, but the amount of realism they add to figures is worth the effort. I'll have to score a set of these! Gary Update: I f anyone is in need of these right away, internet hobbies has the LAV decals in stock already.

Lucas, the owner of Echelon (Lawrence Goh) contacted me directly with the list of new releases so it got published exactly as it was. You're right about the LAV set though - it was announced back in december but in the form of ADVANCE news - now it's available.
