Haven't built a lot of WWII German armor, but I think this may get me going in that direction...

I wondered if they would continue with the separate rubber wheel rims or not vs. the "Super Kit" approach, looks like they've gone back to the one-piece wheels. I'm eagerly awaiting this one and hope it's the first of many in the long-gun IV series to come.

I'm very anxious to get my hands on this one. Like everyone else I hope we continue to get more PzKw IV variants. I hope Dragon chooses to revisit the PZ III and reissue some of those kits.

Bill, I went and took a look at a DML superkit panzer that I built and found that almost all of the separate tire/wheel had split completely the way vinyl tires would. Really ticked me off. Has this happened to anyone else? I dont really have a problem with painting the whole wheel with a template. I know I would much rather do this than have split tires

I like the seperate tires, haven't had any problems with them. I wish they would do a late version with the additional armor skirts around the turret.

Any word on whether or not this kit is DAKified?

Need to get a IV, looks like this will be the kit to get.

The way Dragon, AFV Club, Trumpeter and Tristar have collectively upped the quality of AFV kitsets is amazing - when I initially started building military kitsets 20 or so years ago the best that were available were Tamiya and Italeri (Henk's right about the spelling, by the way - the manufacturer later changed the name to it's present form because everyone else had already done it for them...) and one or two others trailing. With this sort of quality at reasonable prices I'm happy to have returned to building ground vehicles.

Great news, Jim. I cant wait for this one. Hopefully this kit will come with markings and gear for a DAK version Pre-orders went in yesterday, and the word I have is that this kit will be out sometime in April. Cheers !! Robert
