Panzer IV Ausf. H

Modelcollect has announced a new model, this time an iconic German tank: the Panzer IV ausf. H

Although no more information has been released other than the box art, considering previous works of this brand it will be interesting to see whta they offer.

According to the box, it will come with a metal barrel and photo etch parts.

Hmmm, another Panzer IV, a yawn pretty much sums op the feeling generated. Don't get me wrong, Modelcollect will do a fantastic job I am sure, it's just the subject has been done ad-nauseum even in smaller scale.

Not so much a "yawner" in 1/72. How many really good long-barrel Pz IV's are there available? And with Zimmerit (hopefully)? Almost through with Dragon!

I think it looks good. Hopefully they'll give us some long missing seperate tools.

At least the Modelcollect ones might actually be available without resorting to e-bay. The proof of whether it's valuable or just a range filler will be if it's better than the "average" Dragon H offering.

Yawn.... another Pv IV..... they (Modelcollect) has been rushing through all the german items.... where their Modern Russian items are outstanding..... they refuse to give the German the level of TLC they give the Russian items..... I foresee shortcomings on detail, closed hatches, and poor tracks.
