Andy Cairns from AC Models posted some images of his latest work in progress... an IDF halftrack crew in 1/35 scale!
Andy says it took two weeks of prep involving sculpting heads, boots, weapons, armatures etc to get this far. The figures are still in very early phase but I'm very happy to see these come to life and am pretty sure many IDF fans will be glad to see the set released.

These will be great, hopefully we will see a set of Uzi SMG folding stock weapons set as no manufacturer make them (Tank no longer produce their set). Italeri only have the wooden stock on their uzi's.

AC models have been cranking out a bunch of great figure sets lately. Much to the dismay of my wallet

I agree - some great figure sets of late and this one looks to be just as good. And also hard on the wallet - with 10 figures this will be in the $175 USD range. While many wish Andy released his figures individually, I think that would take away from the sets which are meant to be used as one and the interaction between figures is what makes these sets so great - expensive but worth it for the subject matter alone.

I wonder whether this set is based upon an actual picture...
