Next to roll off from the MiniArt factory is its highly detailed kit of a well-known Soviet tank killer, the SU-85.
The SU-85 (Samokhodnaya ustanovka 85) was a WWII-era Soviet self-propelled gun based on the chassis of the T-34 medium tank. The designation "85" signifies the bore of the vehicle's armament, the 85 mm D-5S gun. The SU-85 entered combat service in August 1943 and was deployed across the Eastern Front until the end of the Second World War. More than 2,000 units were manufactured during its production run until late 1944.

MiniArt’s SU-85 Soviet Self-Propelled Gun Model 1944 Early Production (35204) is a highly detailed model kit that features a fully detailed interior of the fighting and engine compartments. The kit contains:

  • a total of 934 parts in plastic, photo-etched, and clear components
  • detailed engine
  • workable track links
  • three types of wheels
  • decal sheet for multiple finishing options
Background information on the vehicle sourced from Wikipedia.
