WW II German Pionier

Reedoak's new release is already announced. A German soldier from World War II.

Figure represent a WW II Deutsch Pionier of 11th Panzer Division carrying a Mauser 44 rifle and Tellermine 42 anti tank blast mine .

Already available in 1/32 and 1/35 but I think smaller scales will be added.

Figure is displayed with a former figure of company from the same division - German Panzergrenadier

Note that figures are printed when ordered, hence they may be some days before shipment. The company offers 20% discount if you order the figures with printing supports not removed. Please read link for details.

Wow, these are so real, so believable (even the "porker")! I almost can't believe how big the step forward is, even to very accomplished sculptors. Sculpted figures can be great too, but they are sculptings, these are figures!

The details are great. I predict more 3D finger pointing German figures. Not that we need anymore of these "pull my finger I gotta fart" WWII figures.

The figures are very good, but the details on the face of the Panzergrenadier look soft to my eyes.

These are truly amazing figures ...has anyone purchased any? Are they similar to prepping and painting resin figures or plastics?

Material is resin, and preparing is similar to other resin figures, with a small difference for me : after the primer, I apply a wash with pure acetone using a flat brush, to fill the lines that are eventualy noticeable. Then with a small brush and pure acetone, I clean small details that needs to be enhanced. then undercoat and painting as usual
