Civilians and female soldiers have always been in short supply in 1/35 scale, now Kami de Koro Koro a Japanese company are producing a line called Troops and Peoples with some interesting civilian and female soldier sets in resin.
The Osaka based resin manufacturer’s products have formerly only been available at Japanese hobby shows but now Hobbylink Japan has added the range to their inventory.

The range of 1/35 scale figures includes:

KAD35-001 1/35 JSDF Young Female Officer 1
KAD35-002 1/35 JSDF Woman Officer (WAC) Winter Uniform
KAD35-003 1/35 Old Woman & Girl
KAD35-004 1/35 Woman (European Civilian in WWII)
KAD35-005 1/35 JSDF Young Female Officer 2
KAD35-006 1/35 Old Man & Boy
KAD35-007 1/35 IDF Female Officer 1
KAD35-008 1/35 IDF Female Officer 2

The Old Woman & Girl and Old Man & Boy sets will add contrast to any military diorama while the Woman (European Civilian in WWII) should look good perched on an Allied Vehicle in a liberation scene. The IDF and JSDF female soldiers give the modeller the option of something different to add to their vehicles.

Kami de Toro Toro also do some German figures in 1/48 and 1/72 scale:

KAD48-001 1/48 German Tank Crew Set 1
KAD48-002 1/48 German Infantry Set 1
KAD72-001 1/72 German Tank Crew Set
KAD72-002 1/72 German Infantry Poncho Camo Figure
KAD72-003 1/72 German Early Palm Tree Pattern Officer

It would be nice to see a built review, and or some better pictures, particularly of the 1/48 figures... I would buy the sets, but HLJ is already sold out! Grrrrr...

I'm not very impressed the the 1/48 figures I've just received, especially the tank crew. You get one full figure (three pieces) and two half figures (in one piece). Plenty of flash and mould lines to clean off and anatomicaly one of the half figures looks rather odd. The head seems very narrow when viewed from the front . The other set of infantry is marginally better. The two figures have less flash but still have mould parting lines to clean up. Both have a one piece body with separate arms and heads. One figure is in a static pose and comes with an alternative bare head, the other is prepairing to throw a grenade. All of their kit is cast separately. All in all, no where near the quality of the Takahasi or other recent 1/48 figure releases, but that's just my personal opinion.
