Dragon Models have just announced four releases at the Annual Shizuoka Hobby Show in Japan:
  • 6309-1
Bearing in mind, that during the course of the year, DML are constantly announcing new releases, it's not surprising that only four releases are (usually) announced at this show...

The four new releases are, firstly in figures:

DRA6309 Verfugungstruppe (France 1940) these are listed as being withing their '39-45' series.

In Armor, the most welcome will be undoubtedly the Panzer III although the others are also interesting:

DRA3536 - M1A2 SEP

DRA6406 - Tiger I Late Production (see recent News Story)

DRA6394 - Pz.Kpfw.III Ausf.J (2 - in - 1)

Yay an SEP! Whats the deal with those new figs? Not normally my thing, but they look very nice indeed, they actually look more detailed better than Gen 2 figs. And whats with the quote 'a lifelike representation of the battlefield' is this some new range or something?

Great news on a rainy Thursday morning ! I can relax a bit, sip on my nice hot coffee, and check this new stuff out ! Guess I will have to get the wheels turning and see if I can pre-order these ASAP. Its never ending, and you can never get enough ! Thanks for posting, Jim ! Cheers !! Robert

I'm awating news/updates on their Stryker. I do like what I''ve seen of the AFV Club Stryker (and that one looks better than the Trumpeter offering), but I would like to see a comparison of the Dragon/Trumpeter/AFV Club kits before deciding.

A new Panzer III? what the heck am I gonna do with the stack of old Dragon/Gunze that are in the stash? I like the look of those figures, the level of detail is outstanding.

It's nice to see the Pz III line is getting some continued attention as a follow-on to the StuG III G...and not as a "Premium" kit either but a new tooling.
