Riich Model has sent us news of two new products that are on their way to market. This time Riich Model has announced a Panzerjager Bren and a 6pdr with crew.
These two new offerings from Riich Model in 1/35th scale are an interesting and welcome offering. The Bren gun carrier pushed into service with its erstwhile enemy with Panzerschrecks’ mounted as its offensive fire power. It is not made clear if the German crew for the Bren carrier are included and so will have to wait and see.

The other offering in the form of a 6pdr and crew is also welcome. I especially like the look of this offering because of the crew included with the model. The crew are British or Commonwealth troops depending on the decisions of the modeller and depicts a five man crew bringing the 6pdr into a firing position. This is something I have not seen offered previously and will make this offering easily tell a story if placed in a diorama.

Two neat looking releases. Many people I am sure have tried to convert the bren carrier ever since seeing the picture and ensuing painting in Panzer Colours! The six pounder looks pretty cool with good crew poses.

After the 2.8cm s.Pz.B.41 and now this, I hope they continue with the Flak30 on captured Bren Carrier. Or better they do not. Can not buy more kits after the new Bergepanther!

These look good, esp. the 6 Pounder. One note though, neither one is an artillery piece. The 6 Pounder, as noted on the box, was a 57mm anti-tank gun, and the Panzerjager Bren used 3 Panzerschrecks, which were 88mm anti-tank rockets.

Gino: I needed a title that tied the two releases together and that seemed the closest word I could get.

I really like Riich kits, so this is a welcome addition.

The Bren "Under new Management" is a neat one that many of us has thought to scratch build or kitbash so it's nice to see someone save us from ourselves at last! The thing that I particularly like about the six-pounder is the inclusion of the figurines doing something interesting. Nice change of pace.
