MENG announced another kit in 1/35 release, a Russian AA system in 4 build options.
The Tunguska gun/missile air defense system developed by the Soviet is a unique and powerful modern air defense weapon. The 96K6 Pantsir air defense system successfully developed in 1994 is a further development of Tunguska and has improved weapon capacity and maneuverability. It’s a combined missile and anti-aircraft gun system against low flying and ultra low flying threats. The Pantsir system has been deployed in the Russian Army for years and has outstanding performance in some local conflicts.

The MENG Russian Air Defense Weapon System 96K6 Pantsir-S1 is another masterpiece of MENG modern Russian ground equipment subjects. This product focuses on the evolving Pantsir system. Modellers have 4 build options which cover this system from different users in different periods. This model is 310mm long and 165mm tall. It contains a total of 759 parts. This kit features rotatable turret, and movable missile launching mechanism, guns and radar. Cab interiors are included. The sunroof can be built open. The steering wheels are steerable.

I think this is Pantsir S2. The radar is different of S1 version. LINK

The description mentions that Meng will include parts for four different versions. Since the title shows S1 and the model is an S2, I suspect Meng is including parts to built both, which is pretty typical for them.

There is no such official name "Pantsir S2". This is mistakenly picked up by a multitude of sources. Moreover, it is replicated even by the near-military technical sources of information. The correct name of the fact that the pictures - "Pantsir S1 with the new SOTc (Systema Obnaruzheniya i Tceleukazaniya/detection and targeting system)". The more updated version of the Pantsir is called the "Pantsir SM", but it is still in the prototypes.

Would it be correct to say the Meng version of Pansir is more modern than the Trumpeter version? The antennae is different between teh two manufacturer's kits.
