Hans has been hitting the gym. His arms are HUGE! The painted up figure is nice, but the anatomy on the unpainted version looks... off

Legs too short, boots not big enough

First of all, those WWII German Greatcoats were LOOONG in their "skirts". Naturally, that little guy's "boots are not big enough"... Second, haven't you guys ever seen a guy with short legs and small feet..? Or people with feet that are so big, they need to wear "GUNBOATS" for shoes..? This is ANOTHER THING that I've constantly been "harping" about when it comes to scale figurines- "LIFE" doesn't make everyone perfectly-proportioned, or blessed with "perfectly-chiseled Hollywood-type bodies or faces". REAL people are sometimes ugly, obese, under-nourished-looking, or are gnome-like in their bodily-proportions. They can be as short as a fire-plug, or as tall as a three-story building. Some have noses that can be likened to pears or bananas. Others have missing teeth or pock-marked faces. REALISM and ACCURACY- Isn't that what you guys are ALWAYS moaning and crying about?!? I for one, would love to see some figurines with pot-bellies and double-chins, or as skinny as a broom-stick, or bandy-legged or pigeon-toed, or even with faces that only a Mother could love... (sigh)

Gee, and here I was just going to say that I would have liked it if he had been wearing gloves considering his cold weather gear...
MAR 25, 2019 - 02:26 AM
Sure- You're absolutely right about the Cold Weather Gloves... Or, he might have lost them..?

I don't think he looks "off" at all. To me, he looks like your average "Fritz", "Emil", "Hansl" or "Gustl"...

M4A1Sherman: Do you have some affiliation, with Dusty Warrior?
MAR 25, 2019 - 04:37 AM
Absolutely not. The ONLY affiliations that I have are with my family-members and a few very close friends... I speak as I see things- Nothing more, nothing less... If you'd read what I said all along in this thread, you'd have realized that I was neither praising OR "dissing" this new figure... PS- I'd never even HEARD of "DUSTY WARRIOR" until Carlos posted this thread...

He could be a little thin guy under all those layers that matches those little feet. Or his boots might be too small and his toes are all scrunched up in them. Or it's perspective and photography. The figure isn't standing straight up and down in the picture.
