Hard to tell from the pics, but they look just nice as some of Dragon's best (way back when Dragon still had some "best"). Plus they also come with decals!

Nice looking set; definitely going on my wishlist; speaking of Dragon, have they stopped making figures altogether? I have several of their sets and have been picking them up off the internet cause it seems they aren't making any more; is that the case? Just wondering. Go Tamiya!! again, nice looking set!

Really look great. My only question is whether or not Tamiya had them sculpted in house or outsourced them.

Definitely have been nearly zero announcements of WWII figures, although they a couple of modern figures a while back. There isn't a lot of selection left on the dragonusa.com site now, either.

Not outsourced. These are based on 3D scans of actual people wearing the equipment, as are most of Tamiya's recent figures. Now I wish they would do similar sets of mid and late war US infantry. Cheers!

These look like a good set, I'll probably pick some of these up. I doubt whether they are outsourced, Tamiya figures are a lot better than the old ones.

I like the poses and connection. It would be easy to replace the binoculars with a mug or sandwich and leave everyone waiting on him to finish breakfast. I have always liked that Tamiya generally provided more than four figures in a set. Much more variety.

Liked them as a kit and apparently I now have a reason to like them again! Nice poses and good gear. Wonder what the price-point will be.
