Fascinating stuff that I've never seen before -and would greatly appreciate if someone offered them in 1/35 styrene! Hint! Hint! Trumpeter!

There is hope. Trumpeter already have a similar trench digger / engineering vehicle: the BTM-3 This one digs a slit trench and the BAT-M digs a ditch to the full width of the vehicle LINK Both of these dig behind them when moving forward. Nowadays there is also the MDK-3 which digs a full width trench going backwards

These are fascinating subjects in 1/72! Any sense of the quality of the kits themselves?

From what I remember of the only W-Model kit I own I would say that the resin casting is up there among the best. I think he uses computers to design the parts and 3D-printing for the masters.
