In a move that will surprise many, Masterbox Ltd. have just announced that they'll be producing one of the most sought-after vehicles in model form.
3554 - Panhard 178 AMD-35

3556 - Kw K38L/42 auf Pz.Spah. 204(f)

The former (3554) is the Panhard in French service. The latter (2556) is the vehicle when it was used by the Germans after large stocks of the vehicle were captured following the fall of France.

The decision to produce two versions, is to my mind very sound. German subjects sell - what better then, to produce the basic kit (of the original version) and also do the 'Germanized' version using the same basic hull (with a new turret.

We're also (still) short of Armored Cars - any company which deviates from the same (repeated) subjects deserves to be congratulated!

I'll be updating the story from the company in the next few days...

I love what they've been doing with their figure sets lately. But maybe they should release the Mercedes staff car which they first announced about 2 years ago before talking about any other vehicles! I mean we haven't even seen test shots of that Mercedes yet.

Great news, but before I really start to cheer I would like to see a finished model or at least sprue shots. Thanks for the update

Now I do not have to build that old Alby kit that is in my stash or buy the new Hussar Panhard wheels.
