Moustafa Assad of Blue Steel Books informs us that he will launch a new book on Lebanese Civil war Gun trucks at Euro Militaire this year.

Last year over on ML Moustafa asked what subject would people like to see covered by Blue Steel next and many people, myself included, plumped for gun trucks or technicals so here is the result.

Civil Wars, The Gun Trucks Vol 1 will cover the technicals used by the leftist militias during the war in Lebanon from their inception during the early days of 1976 until 1989. This isn't a nuts and bolts kind of book as while some Militia men might be delighted to pose and show off their hardware others may not. Moustafa admits that some photos are not perfect, but says most are astounding in their rarity and clarity.
Printed in landscape format, with 146 pages, the book is aimed at the historian as well as the modeler.
