Mig Productions have just sent us News of their latest releases
The first News is that the company are now selling parts separately from their existing kits. Modelers can now get replacement parts of pieces for models they are detailing and/or scratch-building. A list of the first of these 'component' parts can be seen:

Onto the New Releases:

The first, in a big move for the company, is the marketing of their own range of Airbrushes:

P-450: MIG AIRBRUSH H02 (SMALL CUP)

MIG Productions has finally developed an excellent airbrush with a very competitive price for painting all types of models. This airbrush has been used and tested by many professional modellers on order to obtain a design that allows for the best results possible. The MIG Productions airbrush is sturdy, easy to use, simple to clean and superior to any other modelling airbrush on the market. Other market airbrushes have been designed for illustrations or other areas of art but our model h02 is engineered specifically for modelling. Our H02 version is perfect for precision work with complex shapes or camouflages on all types of aircraft and vehicles. The H02 has a small cup for working with little amounts of paint when needing to frequently change colours. In addition we have reduced our profits to a minimum allowing the modeller an opportunity to have a quality economic airbrush that is far superior to any other type on the market.

P-451: MIG AIRBRUSH H03 (BIG CUP)

Other modelling airbrushes have been designed for illustrations or other areas of art but our model h03 is engineered specifically for modelling. Our H03 version is perfect for precision work on large surfaces and camouflages. This airbrush has a large cup when a lot of painting is needed to cover large areas. In addition we have reduced our profits to a minimum allowing the modeller an opportunity to have a quality economic airbrush.

AFV Crew Figures (1/48th Scale):

MP 48-198: WINTER SS AT REST (3 FIGURES)

German second war SS figures perfect for any diorama or vignette. All three are cast in resin with fine details and are easy to assemble.

i think this has run its course, each party has contributed something valuable, i respect everyones opinion, i have been looking for an airbrush and i think i will be purchasing Migs offering, i would prefer good customer service to a cheap and nasty company who dont respond. your right spandex may be a good company, but Mig productions has a modelling reputaion, not nail art or such. im sorry i am wandering, but i do think we should stop as its not getting anywhere.

The "M8" crew could be very useful for any US tank, tank destroyer, SP, etc. Two of the figures are wearing the tankers overalls and the other appears to be in the M1943 field jacket. The bib overalls ("tankers trousers") were usually seen only on vehicle crews as they were hard to get loose for bodily functions for a heavily loaded infantryman. The M1943 jacket gradually replaced the previous light field jacket and the earlier tanker jacket. Gary

Holey Moley, talk about feathers flying! If I didn't already have 6 airbrushes, I'd buy one of Migs, just for the hell of it.
