Allied-Axis is a 96-page, black-and-white, perfect-bound quarterly. Each issue contains four to six articles featuring a historical introduction followed by extensively captioned period and walk-around photographs, many of which are otherwise unpublished.

These are generally very good "if I'm only going to buy one book" books. I have reviewed two of them and look forward to this edition, especially with the 15cm howitzer. They are generally a nice mix of museum and period photos. |
