The tires looks suspiciously like the tires including in all of the various BRDM/BTR kits from Arsenal/Eastern Express (BRDM-1) and DML/Zvezda (BDRM-2, BTR-70, BTR-80) but those do appear to be based on a real tire design - they seem to be a rather weakly defined version of what Hussar sells as "BRDM Polish Tread" only without the sidewall lettering and with shallow tread. Then again, I've not seen the Hussar wheels in person to verify if the cast tread matches the CAD image on their site. W...

I have mixed feelings about this one, too. Unless they show more close-up photos of the actual resin wheels, you cannot tell whether the treadpattern and tired shape are correct or more accurate than other blocky BTR, BRDM wheels already on the market. Besides, more welcome release would be the modern wheels for a BTR-80A, which is not available online. But we'll see.

They look nothing like the "Polish tread" This is the Polish tread. That's because they are not for a BRDM1 or 2. They are for a BTR60 and look quite good. While not used on the BRDMs, they are very good BTR60 wheels. Just need a decent BTR60 kit now.
