Tiger 1 at Villers Bocage Dio Guide Available

Tuesday, March 09, 2010 - 10:01 PM GMT

By PAT MCGRATH
Glenn Bartolottis Volume 4 of his Step by Step Finishing German Armor guide is now available as a downloadable PDF file from his own website.
This volume is a step by step guide to making a mini diorama of a knocked out Tiger 1 of SS Pzr. Abt. 101 at Villers Bocage in 1/48 scale.

In this volume Glenn goes into details of the work done on the AFV Club Tiger Kit to make it resemble Tiger 121. He also details the building of the dio base based on a photo from the aftermath of the Battle of Villers Bocage.

Although the model used is 1/48 I can't see any reason why the techniques used can't be scaled up to 1/35.

This is a PDF view only file (cannot be printed.)

It is available to order by Paypal at Glenn's website LINK.

Glenn also has some interesting projects in the pipeline including a SBS for a Das Reich Hummel and a guide to simple figure conversions.

Please mention Armorama when ordering.
