The 11th book in the 'Trackstory' series of monographs is about to be published.
This is a superb series of books, which, for anyone tackling French AFV subjects is invaluable. The latest in the series:

Trackstory n° 11 - Somua S35

Is at the point of being published. Covering the vehicle in Both French & German service, the book, following the format of the others in the series, has been entirely re-written with new texts, photos and profiles.

The book has 64 pages with 12 pages of color profiles along with numerous previously unseen (80%) B +W photos. The book is Bilingual (English/French) and should be available by the end of March 2010.

The book is available, directly from the publishers:

Thanks for the news Jim, I went right over and ordered one. For those who are paying attention, there seems to have been a real re-think on French camo schemes. The usually depicted ochre colour seems totally absent from the colour profiles in the S35 book where it has been replaced by a bright-ish sea green. It seems many French tanks looked a lot different to what we had previously thought. For instance, the Vercengetorix scheme provided in the Tamiya Char B1 bis kit should have the ochre colour replaced by the sea green colour. Makes for a far more attractive camo scheme too. Cheers, TimTam27
