Recently we've been running a series of Reports on some of the interesting W.i.P. coming from ICM.

The company have sent us the first CAD images of:

35525 –L1500A (Kfz.70), WWII German Personnel Car

More images, as always to follow...

Our thanks to Anna Linkevich of ICM for the Update!

I hope that ICM does well with this kit. I know it's not the most attractive vehicle by far, but I've been looking forward to this for a while. I think it's great that including an engine for softskin kits seems to be becoming a standard in 1/35. Any word on possible variants?

That is a very nice kit coming. I build the Schmidt vacu kit almost 20 years ago. This will be much much easier build, I hope.

I too am very interested in this release. That may change once I see the price tag though. Roy

Great news!

Between the automobiles, trucks and softskins coming out, I am actually losing track of all these recent releases! Guess that's a good thing huh? This one certainly looks very cool, and breaks up the monotony of the Tam Horch 1a, the Italeri Horch and the Tamiya Steyr. (although I do like all those kits!) Mixing up these vehicles in a convoy or marshalling area would be a cool idea for the ambitious....

Am I wrong to think this is a Steyr?!?!?

Well, not at all. The front of this truck resemlbes quite much the conversion kit from Real Model for a Mercedes 1.5 ton Einheitskraftwagen. So I think this will become a Mercedes. Cheers Arun Bauer
