We have a sneak preview of a new 1/35 scale figure release from Black Dog:
British Land Rover WMIK Crew

The crew is sculpted by Radek Tomanec to fit Hobby Boss kit, and will be offered with the upgrade kit as well.

Thanks to Darren Palmer from www.fireflymodels.co.uk for the heads-up!

When considering a new kit today, I always look for one of these update stowage sets instead of an etch set. With the quality of modern kits and what is already included, the stowage gives so much more to the finished vehicle. Love these Black Dog sets. I like the fact that one can choose the update or update and figures. Saves ordering seperately! Thanks mario.

I first thought of getting Legend update set but if Black Dog gives resin tires with their set plus the figures... we'll see the price once these are released, but it seems Black Dog got a winner here. Mario

Looks good but I have doubts these later style rims go together with older style tires? Also I don't see any Bowman antenna base which should follow the time frame for the MAPIK armor and Ricardo wheels I'm not sure about this claim so perhaps someone with more knowledge can shed some light?

I followed the link to the Firefly Models site, and they have it for £49.95 (56.18 euros) plus postage. Not cheap, but it adds a lot to the base kit. I suppose one would expect to pay this much for an update set and three figures.

Looks very nice, but as usual ,I can't justify spending $80 on a kit that only cost $30 Just recieved the new Academy humvee and the figures are not small as they used to be.Trumpeter and Hobby Boss could learn a lesson here to include figures to their kits.

Would'nt really bother with the coiled tow rope on the bonnet. When on Ops, the tow strop is usually already attached to the front tow pintle in the bumper, and the strop is draped around the ECM/antenna mounts/across the bonnet.Speeds things up if you need a rapid recovery/extraction !!
