DEF model has continued to expand and now have an impressive selection of resin wheels for your model when the kit supplied product doesn’t cut for you. This however is not the only string to their bow as they are also increasing their range of modification products, and have a very nice range of complete models starting to take shape.
Starting with the wheel sets on offer they have;
• DW30001 World War II Schwimmwagon wide wheel set for the Tamiya offering in 1/35th scale. This set consists of five resin pieces and is also supplied with wheel masks to aid you during painting.
• DW35010 – Stryker/LAV III sagged wheel set for the AFVClub and Trumpeter offerings in 1/35th scale. This set consists of seventeen resin pieces and is also supplied with wheel masks to aid you during painting.
• DW35011 – LAV-25 SLEP sagged wheel set for the Trumpeter offering in 1/35th scale. This set consists of nine resin pieces and is also supplied with wheel masks to aid you during painting.
• DW35012 – B1 Centauro sagged wheel set for the Trumpeter offering in 1/35th scale. This set consists of eight resin pieces and is also supplied with wheel masks to aid you during painting.
• DW35014 – JGSDF LAV 4x4 sagged wheel set for the Tamiya offering in 1/35th scale. This set consists of four resin pieces and is also supplied with wheel masks to aid you during painting.
• DW35016 – JGSDF type 96 WAPC sagged wheel set for the HobbyBoss offering in 1/35th scale. This set consists of eight resin pieces and is also supplied with wheel masks to aid you during painting.

Now we take a look at the M60 A1/3 replacement turret for the Academy, Italeri, and Tamiya offering in 1/35th scale. Set DM35001 consists of 25 resin parts, brass wire, a photo etched fret, and a length of thread.

Saving the best until last to my mind they have a full resin kit of the KM 900 Republic of Korea Army LAV. The kit is listed as DK35002 and consists of;
• 48 resin components.
• 2 photo etched frets.
• A set of wheel masks.
• A set of reflective stickers for the mirrors.
• A set of stickers to mimic the laser coating on the optics.
• A length of 0.8mm wire.
This is an interesting looking AFV which judging by the built up example should be eye catching.

Comments

Def should be their permanent nickname, the detail on their wheels is very crisp and aside from not having window glazing their R.O.K. Fiat is quite the piece
