There isn't much I can add to what has already been said about the quality of resin or casting of Warrior's products, so I’ll just skip that part and go on to the description of the item.
Four of the included heads come from USMC OIF Set #1 (WA35574) and Set #2 (WA35575). All four have the new style chin strap. One helmet includes a pair of goggles molded on with its protective cover “sock.”
The last two heads come from their newly released USMC OIF AAVP-7 Crew (WA35576). Both are wearing the newest style BOSE CVC helmets. One nice thing about the new CVCs is a 9V battery that is located in one of the ear pieces. This allows the crewman, when dismounted or disconnected from the intercom system, to hear the rest of the crew. It is somewhat like a built in walkie-talkie.
Both heads have molded on goggles, and one has a pair of sun glasses molded over the eyes.
The only downfall is that there are no mike booms provided. You will need to scratch build these.
Even though these heads are replicas of those found in the figure sets, I highly recommend them for use with your figure conversion projects.
The folks at VLS/Warriors have heard our calls for more modern US heads. This time, they made up a set of six heads from three of their Modern USMC figure sets.
