Noch Wildgras

by: Kevin Gardner [ JACKHAMMER81 ]

THE PRODUCT

A fine blade grass mat that is a full 8mm tall on a sheet that is 9.5" x 6" (± 24 x 15 cm). It is offered in three colors:

  • Beige/tan

  • Light green

  • Dark green

  • This is a very thick piled grass mat. The backing is a little different from both the Heki and Silflor mats. With the webbing being more evident with the Heki than with the Silfor.

    USING NOCH GRASS

The Noch grass fibers, stand up more like grass than the other two grass products. It can be cut, torn, or stretched into place as the other grasses. This grass doesn't look as if it will need a static grass base to lay over. I also noticed this does not have the shininess of the Heki or Silfor grass. It appears much more natural.

    CONCLUSION

I feel with the height, thickness, and better grass texture, this grass is the best grass on the market. The only downfall to this grass that I see is its limits to only three colors. But as with any grass product, I am sure that it can be painted to achieve any desired color.

For those interested: This product is available in the US from Scenic Express
