This release is a set of under-wing pylons and a centre-line bomb rack. The Italieri kit under wing pylons feature inconsistent rivet detail and have the access doors molded on either side. The Videoaviation parts have fine consistent rivet detail and are ‘handed’ with the access doors cast only on the outboard side.
The set comes with sway braces and counter weights which enables the modeller to hang alternate stores on their model and not just the fuel tanks provided in the kit.

Conclusion
The Italieri centre-line rack is devoid of any detail on its lower surface and the sway braces are coarse in appearance being fairly oversized.
The Videoaviation part addresses these issues by providing the missing detail and having fine, ‘to scale’ sway braces cast in place.
A large-ish casting block will need to be carefully removed from the parts, and the centre-line rack has no locating tabs but this should not be a problem for experienced modellers.
This set offers the modeller a cost effective upgrade to the kit parts while also allowing you to ‘bomb up’ your Starfighter should you so choose.

Please remember, when contacting retailers or manufacturers, to mention that you saw their products highlighted here - on AEROSCALE.

SUMMARY
Highs: Allows alternate stores to be loaded. Addresses accuracy and detail issues.
Lows: None noted.
Verdict: This set offers the modeller a cost effective upgrade to the kit parts while also allowing you to ‘bomb up’ your Starfighter should you so choose.
