introduction

M1956 LCE – Load Carrying Equipment has been designed to make carrying the equipment easier and more comfortable for a soldier. It allows the soldier to carry tactical combat gear in the most effective manner for lethality and survivability on the battlefield. M-1956 LCE came at a period when the United States Army was in the process of adopting a new service rifle, and thus the system is very general-purpose in nature, designed to accommodate ammunition and cartridge magazines for a number of standard issue small arms. The M-1956 LCE remained in service from the late 1950s through the 1980s and set the standard for future United States military load-carrying equipment.
B6-35071 U.S.Army Individual Equipment is in 1/35 scale, cast in grey resin and includes parts of basic configuration for 3 U.S. Army infantrymen. Belts and suspenders are supplied as PE parts.

Note that this kit doesn’t include canteens but BRAVO-6 has B6-35049 U.S.Canteens with all types of water bottles used by US Army in Vietnam.

  • SUMMARY
Highs: Great sculpt and cast in BRAVO-6 quality. Lots of different pieces to detail your figures. PE parts quality is amazing.
Lows: No lows on this one. Maybe I ask too much but a few canteens would make it a bit tasty :)
Verdict: Very useful kit for detailing dioramas or individually Vietnam US figures.
