About Adam Mann (Mannloon)
FROM: WISCONSIN, UNITED STATES

I am a professional video game artist specializing in hard surface modeling and PBR texturing. I started making armor models a few years ago and have been trying since to translate my digital skills to paint and plastic, which isn't always easy. My specialty is German Armor in 1/35.

Thank you Adam. A very useful review as I have been pondering a purchase of this one.

Thank you for a very well done review. As a result I have ordered the book and am looking forward trying some of his techniques.

This is what I'm thinking about, too... I bought some wonder-sets lately, to see if I can create breathtaking weathering effects, but it seems like even the magic sets won't help me improve if there's no know-how behind them (and conversely, you can do wonders with the "old" DIY techniques. None of it is a revelation (I've expected as much), merely the conclusion of my experiment.

Thanks guys. His chipping and weathering techniques on that tractor are really sweet.
