Introduction

BRAVO*6 added the 4th German war correspondant figure to Kriegberichter Series. Unlike the first three figures B6-35100, B6-35123 and B6-35125 in standard M36 field uniform or smock for summer or autumn conditions; new figure B6-35128 Kriegberichter(4) has winter clothing.
Review

Inside standard BRAVO-6 cardboard box labeled with painted figure photo, parts are inserted into two zip-lock bags. One for the body and a smaller one for the other parts.

Sculpting is nice in clean and crisp details. Casting is flawless as in all figures of the company. Just a fast cleanwork will be required to get rid of seamlines on outer side of arms.

Figure is sculpted by Vladimir Demchenko in 1/35 scale and cast in grey resin. It comes in 8 pieces.

  • He wears German grey - white Reversible Parka with Hood, winter padded Reversible Trousers and Long boots. Cloth folds and uniform details like laces of the hood, front fly with 6 big buttons, slit lower pockets on sides with buttonized flap covers, leather belt with metal buckle and cloth waist cord under the belt are all well defined. There are hollows on the front and back of the body to add the strap for the camera’s battery using metal foil, etc.

  • Sculpted in nice facial features, he wears a M40 Feldmütze - Field sidecap on his head with well defined national cockade, eagle emblem and Waffenfarbe piping on the sides. Over his sidecap, he has a feldgrau woolen tube-shaped Balaclava covering his neck and ears to provide extra protection from the cold.

  • Arms are posed to hold the camera and shows nice cloth folds.

  • He carries an Arnold & Richter Cine Technik (ARRI) - Arriflex 35 camera. It was the first reflex 35mm production motion picture camera. The camera utilizes a three lens turret with three aluminium lens mounts and is capable of frame rates up to 80 frames per second with an accessory speed unit. Film magazines are for 200 ft or 400 ft loads. The DC motor is mounted downwards as a handgrip. It shows nice and realistic details. Hands with German WW II Woolen Knit Gloves are cast on the camera.

  • A Battery pack with open lid is supplied and will be attached to the right side of the figure. Another one with closed lid is also included inside the kit.

  • He has a semi-automatic Luger P08 Parabellum in Hardshell leather holster on the left side.
    conclusion

Another unique figure showing Vladi’s sculpting quality and BRAVO-6 high quality casting. Nice pose, useful for World War II winter scenes. Remarkable details on Arriflex camera.
