1/48 Floor Plate Modern PE

by: Jeremy Wee [ JAZZA ]

Contents
The set comes packaged in typical Eduard fashion with the fret lined up against a single piece of cardboard. This package did not come with any instructions as it is rather self explanatory on the uses of this set.

The included fret is 120mm in length and 60mm in height so it should cover majority of the floor area for most 1:48 scale modern kits. The pattern is nicely detailed and accurately crafted. It wouldn’t take too much effort to cut the desired shape of the floor space and fit it into the kit’s interior. The back side of the fret is entirely flat so it should sit nicely on the floor of the chassis or hull once cement or super glue is evenly applied.

in conclusion
My only reservation on this detail set is the value for money factor as you aren’t getting much for the amount you are paying for. On the flip side however, this can be applied to many different kits so you aren't limited to a specific kit like most Eduard detail sets.

Overall however this certainly makes a nice addition to all 1:48 scale modern kits and is recommended for all modelers who take pride in detailing the interior of their builds.

Many Thanks to Eduard for the review sample.

SUMMARY
Eduard presents a nice addition to all 1:48 scale modern kits which would have been otherwise difficult to scratch build. This detail set would most likely benefit personnel carrier type builds in this scale.
