This set of resin replacement wheels from Pro Art Models are designed for the forthcoming Trumpeter M1078 and consists of 5 wheels (2 fronts, 2 rears, one replacement) cast in light cream resin.

The quality of the casting is excellent without any air bubbles or any casting blocks that need to be removed.
The Trumpeter kit wheels have a huge seam line in the middle of the tire pattern and since the material is vinyl it will be difficult to remove. The Pro Art wheels are designed to replace them. The hubs are the same as those provided in the kit but you need to glue on the air tubing for the inflation system. The fine sidewall detail is still present with the Michelin X, labels and dimensions. The pattern detail is excellent.
The back side of each wheel includes the mounting hub from the Trumpeter kit so no extra care is needed to glue them in place.
Pro Art Model stated that the wheels are realistically sagged (flattened) but this may or not be the case.. The diameter difference between the replacement wheel and the four provided by Trumpeter is only 1mm. They are dimensionally correct.
conclusion
The best of Trumpeter without the worst, highly recommended.
SUMMARY
Highs: Better than the vinyl ones provided in the kit, no seam line and the embossing on the side wall is still present.Lows: The air tubing needs to be glued to the tires.Verdict: Highly recommended if you cannot remove the seam line from the vinyl ones.
