Although said to be a Generic set of instruments for WW1 aircraft, this Airscale Decals set cover both German and Allied gages. Each decal gauger comes with 3-4 copies, so you have enough to do several aircraft models.

Beautifully printed by Fantasy Photoshop, they all appear in perfect registration, and thin. Each dial is printed as a separate item, but I can't see any carrier film around the individual decals.

The instruction as pretty straight forward, and gives you a listing of what each decal is by number, so there shouldn't be too much head scratching as to what each decal represents.

A small sheet of clear plastic is included for those wishing to use it to make the clear glass covers for each dial. (I would suggest using a punch and die set for cutting these, and it might not be a bad idea to use it to also cut out each decal.

I pick my set up from sprue brothers for the price of $9.99 USD
I also picked up their 1/48 scale decal set and my remarks apply to the scale's decals also.

Please remember, when contacting retailers or manufacturers, to mention that you saw their products highlighted here - on AEROSCALE.
SUMMARY
Highs: Beautiful spot on printing and registration. Affordable addition to dress up your WW1 cockpits.
Lows: Can't think of anything
Verdict: Should make WW1 builders happy, especially for replacing kit decals.

About Dave O'Meara (Grumpyoldman)
FROM: FLORIDA, UNITED STATES

I'm rewriting this in a much more humoristic way, to help over inflate my ego, and place my self on a pedestal, because I don't have a life, and plastic models are the only thing I live for. I plead guilty as charged to excessive babble, light hearted humor, and continued encouragement to youngsters...

I was just looking at these on their website last night and wondered if they were good. Dave gave them a 98%! Wow! I gotta get a set in 1:32 & 1:48 that would be fantastic. With the loss of Copper State Models and their gauges no longer available I am thinking these gems might just be the ticket.

Hi Dave I've nipped out the photo, because I know Peter Castle was wary of hi-res pics due to people being able to copy and print their own versions when we first reviewed the set back in April: http://www.aeroscale.co.uk/modules.php?op=modload&name=Reviews&file=index&req=showcontent&id=6301 All the best Rowan
