Not only is AddOn Parts making accessories, they also have some diorama tidbits, and one of their latest releases is a concrete fence. This style of fence has been around a long time, and would look at home on a modern or World War 2 diorama.
In the package you get enough parts to build a three section fence with four posts and eighteen slabs, six of them being top pieces.
The resin cast parts are well done, with a slight concrete texture to them. The slab sections are cast at about just over 1mm thick. The set comes with four posts that are slotted, one post is slotted on one side, another slotted on opposite side, another slotted at 90 degree angle, and the last post slotted on three sides. With these post configurations, it should be easy to build the fence to suit your need, and with extra sets, you would be able to build the size and configuration to match your diorama need. I found no flash on any of the parts, but did find the odd casting bubble, which would be easy to fix with a little putty, or left to add character to the concrete.
The construction is straight forward and with a little sanding after removal from the casting blocks, the wall went together very well with CA. I did use a square to line up and true the first piece. As for painting, the resin parts accepted Tamiya primer very well, and paint was them applied.
The set builds a nice looking concrete fence that could fit almost any diorama need, and when completed and painted looks great. This is another great looking product from AddOn Parts, and highly recommended for your diorama needs.
